Switch-a-roo in the UK Parliament
The other day on You Tube even, MP Andrew Bridgen aims to show his solidarity with the public, but this little proton caught him in a “high-spin” quantum state. At 3:03 the tandem-propaganda screenplay starts. The next guy says, “I’m a supporter of vaccines and many of my family are as well”. Hmm, isn’t this supposed to be a “stop the vaccine” speech?
Just after 5:00 our Big Ben buddy Bridgen gets into the relative vs absolute risk reduction. Bly me! half of the UK & the rest of the English speaking world is now spaced-out. Be sure to say that relative risk was 95%, then here it comes, YES HE SAID THE BAD WORD!, “absolute risk”. Now that everyone is lost in space, he then mixes “absolute benefit”, and “absolute risk” (switch-a-roo #1), well shiver me timbers! I’ll just go get the shot, that’s absolute righty mate!
Act 2, fluffing up our friendly virus on the British Isles with the following:
From 5:00, “vaccine didn’t reduce risk of death”, death from the virus of course.
- “95% reduction against the ancestral more lethal strain of the virus”
-use that important word, “infection”
-use that important word, “mutations”
- use that important word-death, “We were left with the hope that the vaccines would protect us from serious illness and death”.
-What does the data say about, “dying from Covid-19?” OMG Big Ben is ringing at high noon.
-“The 3 month wave of Omicron”, yuk!

Act 3: Then just when you thought these were freedom guys, from 7:00 a Tony Blair look-alike does switch-a-roo #2 in a dark chamber of parliament:
While you were trying to figure out what relative risk is, Bridgen’s buddy, “Relative Risk of Cohorts”, comes out of the closet to replace “Vaccine Relative Risk”. How many things can be at relative risk in one speech guys? Brilliant screenplay writing!
Then even more subliminal fear!
-8:10 “children have a minimal risk from the virus”
-9:15 repeat, “ancestral more lethal strain of the virus”.
-There’s a serious adverse event of 1 in 800 (well I’ll get the vax!)?
This little proton isn’t in an energy level to keep typing away at these wankers so I’ll skip Act 4 and stop here, and our admin flat-out said they wouldn’t waste time inducting these blokes into the Proton Magic Shrine of Shameless Hucksterism. Shucks, I love award ceremonies.
