Monkeys are smarter than humans, they know cell cultures can’t find a virus

I can never hold back laughing when reading about cell cultures and see the words, “monkey kidney cells”. At the end I will explain how monkey kidneys and bridge-jumping monkeys are deeply related. This post is only a 3-minute read.

When setting up an experiment, there are three key variables to think about: controlled, independent, and dependent. Controlled variables remain unchanged to prevent them from influencing the results. The independent variable is what the researcher tweaks to see its effect [supposed virus in patient sample], while the dependent variable is the outcome that’s measured [cytopathic effect or CPE].

👉Though it has never been done, if you had isolated a virus and thought you could study the ability of a virus to destroy cells (called CPE) from a virus, first you would need the natural state of cells from the patient being studied in both test and control arms of the study to keep the variables applicable to the host (the person) you want to test, and minimize confounding variables that could affect the validity or outcome of a study.

Using another human’s cells as a control is better than using the standard monkey cells but you still wouldn’t know what it was about the test and/or control that caused or didn’t cause CPE. Whether human or monkey, all these cells have millions of substances in them that can affect the study outcome.

If you add a patient sample to monkey kidney cells, and also use the monkey kidney cells as control you are obviously not keeping the control the same sans a supposed virus you want to test because you have added patient sample that is a mix of millions of different substances to one arm of the study and not the other.

👉Remember that adding antibiotics, antifungals, and starvation are part of these tests that make both the test arm and the control arm get CPE invalidating the CPE test before the test has even begun. Right, “CPE testing” is just a trick.

In theory, the patient-derived cell culture is the independent variable and CPE is the dependent variable. But the patient-derived cell culture is a mix of substances, it is an independent variable as a “condition” of having the mixed sample, not one specific identifiable independent variable, and both patient and control cultures show CPE as noted above. If you studied a patient’s sample in a test culture vs. no patient sample in a control culture of monkey kidney cells the most you could see was that THIS patient’s sample of millions of substances caused more rapid CPE than the control without the substances. WHICH substance would not be known and obviously that can’t tell you anything about a virus.

Note that:

☞CPE cannot be said to be a surrogate marker for a virus if a virus has never been found to exist.

☞You cannot make a cell culture control if 1. the test system itself causes CPE in any sample (from the antibiotics and starvation), and 2. The control cannot be a culture minus only a “virus” from patient sample if you have never found a “virus” to begin with.

☞If for some miraculous reason a patient sample test culture did not show CPE, there could still be a theoretical dormant or asymptomatic virus.

☞CPE is not a method to isolate virus particles or find their effects, it is only watching cell destruction.

How could you even make a proper control if the test system itself causes CPE, and monkey kidney cells are abnormal and known to break up easily? Even ignoring the above listed unignorable facts, if you thought there was a virus in the patient-derived cell culture you would want to remove everything in the range of a theoretical virus’ size to make a control by spinning in a centrifuge. Say you removed everything between 50nm to 150nm in size by spinning the sample in a density gradient.

Theoretical viruses are said to be about 50-150nm, about the same size as the smallest peroxisomes (bottom of the pellet).

Centrifuging may have removed something causing CPE that is not a virus because you don’t know the exact size of your theoretical virus, and you might have removed a virus as well. You’ll never know. You have also messed with and probably distorted your control cells by spinning them and thus invalidating them as a control because they are now in a different condition compared with the cells that were not spun. See, “centrifugation can alter cell shape by applying high centrifugal forces”.

The cell culture PSYOP only requires some light-weight conceptual unpacking to know we should not pay for, or spend time doing, anything related with cell cultures to test for virus-caused CPE.

Why? Because of Zen and monkeys.

☞We do not need to actually throw a monkey off a bridge to know that monkeys will become monkey mush pudding when they hit the water.

☞We do not need to control healthy monkeys with monkeys sans their kidneys being thrown off a bridge to see if removing the kidney cell variable will allow monkeys to fly after jumping.

☞If we gin up a rage about monkeys being thrown off bridges and flying we’d even see it become widely believed by society.

☞Maybe the monkey kidney PSYOP planners are trying to impress on the masses that they are the monkeys?

⭐OK I ADMIT there’s always a special dude who can game the system and survive the bridge fall⭐
